"This summer God has opened doors for me to lead a group of high school students, serve as Worship Leader, and volunteer at a youth gathering where over 25,000 youth found their identify in Christ alone. I've also been working at a summer camp with elementary students. I love hearing the innocent inquiries and prayers of God's children. We do devotions and go on adventures around town: to the movies, pool, and springs. One of the little boys asked me, "Do you think God is okay with us digging up His rocks?" I smiled and told him God is excited when we explore His creation. While the disciples turned the children away and would have huffed at my student's question, Jesus let the little children come to Him. Jesus was eager to answer their questions and prayers. Sisters, I hope we can be just as quick to take our cares, questions, and prayers to the feet of Jesus with the faith of a child. Luke 18:16-17 "But Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these." -Elizabeth Rockey, Sigma Phi Lambda Chaplain '16-'17
